Nadim Aslam trained at the world renowned centre of excellence, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, University of Oxford with fellowship experience in Toronto. He is a leading consultant orthopaedic surgeon in his field of knee, hip and sports surgery in Worcestershire where he has practiced for over 5 years. He is a consultant at Spire South Bank and Worcestershire Royal Hospital and was awarded Membership of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine (MFSEM) in 2008.
He provides orthopaedic support for a number of Worcestershire’s leading sports clubs including Worcester Warriors. He has extensive experience in all aspects of knee and hip surgery including arthroplasty, arthroscopy and ligament reconstruction work. His main interest includes primary and revision arthroplasty of the knee and hip, a common procedure used to treat knee and hip arthritis.
As with all of his work, Nadim is committed to a patient-centred approach to orthopaedic care, believing that patients should be fully involved in the decision making process and educated about the disease, causes, treatments and long term management options available to them. He hopes that by bringing together a network of people who share the condition, and providing sufferers with valuable medical knowledge and advice, 3 Counties Arthritis Care will have a huge impact on the quality of lots of patient’s living in the Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire areas.
