Hannah Knox

I graduated from Hertfordshire University in 2002 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and currently work for Nuffield Health in Worcester. I have an interest in all musculoskeletal conditions but particularly in the rehabilitation post injury/surgery and providing tailored programs to the individual with the aim getting people back to what they love doing and preventing further occurrences.

I initially worked in the NHS in Hampshire for a few years alongside working with a local Rugby team providing pitch side cover and rehab to injured players.

Then I worked in New Zealand in private practice for 8 months before moving over to Australia where I worked for a highly regarded private practice covering the local private hospital as well as patients coming into clinic for 4 years. Here I got to work with a wide variety of patients including athletes of all ages competing at various levels, from social all the way through to international level.

After returning to the U.K. in 2010 I have worked for Nuffield Health. Initially at the hospital in Hereford and I am now mainly based at the Worcester Fitness and Wellbeing Centre at Perdiswell Park (with some of my time at our Cheltenham Hospital) where I have access to the state of the art gym and pool for treatment. All patients coming in for physiotherapy treatment who are medically fit are entitled to a month’s free gym membership to aid their rehabilitation.

I am always looking at ways at improving my knowledge base through courses. Most recently I have undertaken further training in Pilates (APPI) alongside my regular CPD and in 2011 I gained a Post Graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy from Bath University.
